Arise New Flesh / Flesh and Steel is the first new material from SHIV-R since their 2021 full-length album Kill God Ascend. Focusing on cyber-industrial, dancefloor-oriented sounds and posthumanist, apocalyptic themes, the double-single show a darkness and aggression reminiscent of the Australian duo's earlier work that established them in the lexicon of the industrial music scene worldwide.
